SWS Accounting is a small practice run by Sabawoon Saad out of Ontario, serving clients across Canada and some US-based clients. The US work does not include IRS filings.
There is no call centre here and no account-management layer. You email, and the person who reads it is the person who does the work.
Most of it is personal returns, for people who want them done correctly and want to be able to ask a question without opening a ticket. The rest is bookkeeping and corporate filings for small Canadian businesses, plus the occasional backlog that has been sitting untouched for a few years.
Backlogs, in particular, are worth saying something about. People put off calling an accountant because they are embarrassed about how far behind they are. That is the most common reason a small problem becomes an expensive one. Being three years behind is a scheduling problem, not a character flaw, and it is routine work here.
You get a price before anything starts. Once we know what the work involves, you get the number. If it turns out to be bigger than it looked, you hear about it before the work happens, not on the invoice afterward.
Documents go through a secure portal. Uploads, questionnaires, and signatures all live in one place, so nothing important is sitting in an email thread. If you would rather send things another way, that is fine too.
You are dealing with one person. No handoffs, no explaining your situation twice, no being reassigned in March because it is busy season.
Filing happens on time. Deadlines are the whole job. If something is going to be tight, you will know well before the date, not after it.
